This is Mr. Harrington with the Sunday Weekly Message.
School News
  • This week is bullying prevention week. The theme for this week is Kindness Matters.  Students are encouraged to wear different colors throughout the week in support of each day’s kindness virtue.  Listed below are the colors and virtue for each day
    • Monday: Blue for Civility
    • Tuesday: Green for Equity
    • Wednesday: Yellow for Empathy
    • Thursday: Red for Respect
    • Friday: Purple for Positivity
Please talk with your student throughout the week to support kindness and our anti-bullying message.
  • Our book fair will be taking place this week.  Students will visit the book fair at their regularly scheduled library time.  The book fair will also be open until 3:45pm each day for parents to visit.  On Wednesday night, our book fair will have extended hours as it will be open until 6:30pm.  Special prizes will also be offered on Wednesday night as well.
  • Attention 5th grade parents!  If you’re interested in having your student attend a Magnet Program in middle school the application process opens on Wednesday, October 4th.  All applications must be complete by November 15th.  Interested parents can access the application through the BCPS website by going to the Office of Magnet Programs.  If you have any questions please call our office at 410-887-7070.
PTA News
  • Our Claire’s Gourmet fundraiser ends on Monday.  Please make sure all orders are in by the end of the day on Monday. If you have any questions please call our main office.
  • Thanks to everyone who attended our first PTA meeting of the school year.  The next PTA meeting is on Oct. 16th at 6:30pm.
