School News
  • The BCPS Stakeholder survey is currently available for all families to take.  This survey gives our school system valuable feedback which is used to continue to improve BCPS.  This survey does not take long to complete and can be found on the BCPS website.  All you need to do is go to  This survey is available until Friday, March 2nd
  • This week our school will be celebrating Read Across America.  The schedule for the week includes the following:
    • Monday 2/26 - FOX IN SOCKS - Be your own person!  Show your own personal style and wear your craziest socks!  Can you guess what book we are reading?
    • Tuesday 2/27 – One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish - Be someone you can count on! Show your support by wearing red or blue today.
    • Wednesday 2/28 – Green Eggs and Ham - Try something new every day. Wear green today and maybe eat something green today too!
    • Thursday 3/1 – Oh the Places You’ll Go Dare to dream; how far can you go? Today you may wear a shirt, or hat or other item that shows your favorite place to vacation, visit, or a place you’d like to travel.
    • Friday 3/2 –The Cat in the Hat - Dr. Seuss’ birthday –Celebrating a man who wore many hats (author, poet, and artist).  Put your thinking caps on and wear your favorite or craziest hat!
  • Mark your calendars!  Math and Reading Night will take place together on Monday, March 19th!!!  We will be having many activities for families to participate in and our book fair will also be open.  This event begins at 4:30pm and will end at 5:45pm.  We hope to see many families in attendance for Math and Reading Night.
  • We will be on the day D Special Area schedule tomorrow.
PTA News
  • Our next PTA meeting is Monday, March 12 at 4pm.  We hope to see many parents for our next PTA meeting on Monday, March 12 at 4pm.
