My name is John R. Wilkins and I have been a teacher assigned to Sandy Plains Elementary School since 1990. My previous work was done at Immaculate Conception School in Towson, where I taught 5th grade for 5 year.

I was first hired to teach 3rd grade, which I did for 3 year. My next assignment was 2nd grade, which I taught for 10 year with a short break in between to teach first grade for one year.  My favorite grade level to work with is second grade.

In addition to teaching, I'm the Sandy Plains web master, Chair of the Sandy Plains Faculty Council, a member of the Leadership Team, and Technology Liaison with the office of TSS, to name just a few.
