Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
Arrival
- Our school doors will open at 8:30 am. We are not permitted to allow students in the building prior to 8:30 am due to BCPS Policies.
- All students will enter through the front lobby and proceed to their classroom.
- Pre-K students will meet their teacher in front of the school, line up with their class, and enter the building together.
- Visitors are not permitted past the lobby unless they have signed in with the office and have a BCPS visitor’s badge.
Afternoon Dismissal
- Do not enter the Bus Loop or parking lot between
3:25 pm and 3:45pm (12:25pm and 12:45pm on 1/2 days)
- Dismissal for all grade levels will begin at 3:30pm (3:25pm and 3:45pm on 1/2 days)
- Pre-K, Kindergarten,1st, and 2nd grade students must be picked up by an adult on the Emergency Dismissal Form.
- 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students may walk home on their own
- After normal dismissal time any student not picked up must be brought to the office.
- Parents/guardians will be called to pick up the student
- Students are only allowed to be released to adults on the student’s emergency dismissal form.
